the PT
concept & three flag theory
learn about becoming
a Permanent Tourist
"No great man of letters is absorbed
by the stream in which he swims." - Chaim Potok
The basis of PT three
flag theory is:
- Have your citizenship somewhere that
does not tax income earned outside the country.
- Have your businesses and speculations
in stable, low or no tax countries.
- Live as a tourist in countries where
what you esteem is valued, not outlawed.
Those are the three flags that you
may choose to represent parts of your life. Some
PTs add even more flags to create a five flag theory -
the level of complication is up
to you - it is your life.
most countries treat tourists far
better than their own citizens
Most governments assume they own
their citizens. Like cattle their citizens
are herded, penned, branded, milked, and slaughtered.
Tourists on the other hand are like art exhibits on
loan and usually are treated carefully and well --
tourists bring in cash. Seek to define yourself
so that others will naturally support your choices.
As a permanent tourist it is you,
not some vague group, that owns your
life. It
is possible to live your life as a sovereign individual,
as a PT. You will still have to deal with other
sovereignties - but frequently the advantage can now
be yours.
You may think it is horrible to escape
being owned by the government where you were born.
In that case don't consider seeking to break your serfdom
by becoming an expatriate (expat); instead relish the
slavery you were born into. That can also be your choice.
"It's not an endlessly expanding
list of rights - the 'right' to education, the 'right'
to health care, the 'right' to food and housing. That's
not freedom, that's dependency. Those aren't rights,
those are the rations of slavery - hay and a barn for
human cattle." - Alexis De Tocqueville
(1805-1859)
If you are free you
can give away as much of the fruits of your labor
as you wish - where you wish.
It
is impossible to find a less efficient way of giving
to a need or helping others than letting a bureaucracy
control your
giving. As a social slave
your government steals your labor's reward - takes a
large cut for themselves off the top - and passes on
a small part; expecting your gratitude.
There
is no virtue in this forced charity. "The
mice which helplessly find themselves between the cat's
teeth acquire no merit from their enforced sacrifice." -
Mahatma Gandhi
There is evil in those that get others
to do for them what is obviously wrong for them to
do directly. If
it is not right for someone to steal your property
or restrict your life, how does it suddenly become
right when they get government bureaucrats to steal
and restrict for them?
"Where liberty dwells, there is
my country." - Benjamin Franklin

"Whenever is found what is called
a paternal government, there is found state education.
It has been discovered that the best way to ensure
implicit obedience is to commence tyranny in the
nursery." - Benjamin Disraeli
